It also shares fitment with select Nash, Hudson, and Rambler V8 blocks from the same 1956–1957 era. • Dual-Action Design: The upper section features a glass sediment bowl acting as a fuel filter reservoir, while the lower diaphragm configuration operates the vacuum lines. This secondary vacuum pump system was essential in classic cars to provide steady operation for vacuum-driven windshield wipers during periods of high acceleration or heavy engine load.
