See in its original language (French) : C'est à partir du restylage de 1980 (avec des feux arrières plus proéminents et une nouvelle planche de bord) que la calandre 4 phares fut proposée, pour ses versions les plus sportives, ou en guise d'accessoire. Ce type de calandre en 3 parties et à 11 lamelles convient à toutes les Golf 1, ainsi que les versions cabriolets. Pour ces dernières, il fut proposé sous cette forme jusqu'à juillet 1987. Pour le millésime 1988 et l'ajout de pare-chocs plus proéminents, la calandre devient plus épaisse et moins nervurée, et en une seule partie. Il n'empêche que le montage de la calandre que vous voyez ici reste une possibilité. Question de goût ;).
